AUTOMATIC LICENSE PLATE READERS

The purpose of this policy is to provide guidance for the capture, storage, and use of digital data obtained through the use of Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) technology.

LICENSE TO CARRY A FIREARM

The Chief of Police is given the statutory discretion to issue a license to carry a firearm to residents within the City of Burbank.  This policy provides a written process for the application and issuance of such licenses.  Pursuant to CA Penal Code §26160, this policy is published here.
