Personnel from the Burbank Police Department are taking part in the annual “Tip a Cop” event at the Black Angus restaurant in Burbank on October 15, 2013. Police Officers in uniform will be on hand to assist the staff at the restaurant in serving food and waiting on tables.
Personnel from the Burbank Police Department are taking part in the annual “Tip a Cop” event at the Black Angus restaurant in Burbank on October 15, 2013. Police Officers in uniform will be on hand to assist the staff at the restaurant in serving food and waiting on tables. This event creates a positive interaction between the police officers and patrons of the restaurant. At the end of their meal, patrons are encouraged to make a donation to the Special Olympics, supporting the sports training and competition for children and adults with disabilities. The “tips” to the officers are separate from those given to the regular wait staff. The Black Angus restaurant is located at 235 South First Street in Burbank.
