Volunteer Program
The Burbank Police Volunteer Program gives qualified individuals the opportunity to lend their time and skills to help the organization.
In order to become a volunteer, you must first be a graduate of the Community Academy, a 9-week course for community members conducted by the Burbank Police Department. Prospective volunteers must also pass a background check and attend training classes to be accepted into the program. Volunteers assist with administrative and public service projects, and help promote positive police-community relations.
