Submitting an Online Police Report
Welcome to the Burbank Police Department Online Police Reporting System.
To report an in-progress emergency, please call 911.
The online reporting system allows members of the public to submit qualifying reports online free of charge.
Note: Identity Theft reports cannot be made online. However, a form is available to assist you in making your report. For more info, CLICK HERE.
An online report may be submitted only if ALL of the following statements are true:

You are not reporting an emergency.

The incident occurred within the City of Burbank (does not include the Cabrini Condominium Complex).

The incident did not occur on a freeway.

The identities of the suspects are not known.
If any of the above statements are not true or do not apply, please check our Online Citizen Police Report Frequently Asked Questions section.
If all of the above statements are true, you may file your report online. Please make sure to turn off your pop-up blocking software before filing the report.

If your incident is not listed in the category selection list, please call the Burbank Police Department at (818) 238-3000 (non-emergency) to file your report.
Upon completion of this report process, you will:

See the words: "Your online police report has been submitted," which indicates your report is complete.

Be given a police report case number.

Be able to print a copy of the police report to keep for your records.

All cases filed using the Online Police Reporting System will be reviewed.

Upon review, if further investigation of your case is warranted, a member of the Police Department will contact you.

Knowingly filing a false police report is a crime per California Penal Code §148.5.
