city of burbank statement regarding gun stores:
There has been confusion on certain categories of essential businesses, including gun shops. The County has clarified gun shops are essential businesses under the Safer at Home Order, which aligns with the Governor’s stay at home executive order, and may remain open. Unfortunately, the Sheriff added to the confusion yesterday when he announced gun shops should be closed, but last night he reversed himself. The City is under the jurisdiction of Los Angeles County Public Health for purposes of the pandemic, and as such the City follows their orders.
