Captain Mark Stohl
Captain Mark Stohl began his law enforcement career with the Burbank Police Department in the year 2000. During his career, Captain Stohl has worked a variety of assignments in patrol, criminal investigations, specialized task forces, and police administration.
Captain Stohl holds a bachelor’s degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences and a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Woodbury University.
As a lieutenant, Captain Stohl held assignments as a Patrol Watch Commander and as Bureau Commander of the Internal Affairs Division. He has been instrumental in the implementation of numerous technological advances for the Department, including a complete system comprised of body worn cameras for every police officer, in-car cameras for the entire patrol vehicle fleet, new interview room video technology, less lethal weapon systems, and a cloud-based storage solution for video and photo evidence.
Captain Stohl now serves as the Commanding Officer of the Patrol Division.
