The Burbank Police Department understands the advantages of having specialized units to handle the variety of incidents that occur within the city.  It may be a barricaded suspect, requiring our crisis negotiations team, or someone in need of medical assistance from our mental health unit.  All of our specialized units continually train to maintain their proficiency in their respective specialized units.
