2019 Special Olympics Torch Run

Join Burbank PD as we carry the "Flame of Hope" through the city before handing it off to Glendale PD.

Once again, the Burbank Police Department will be participating in the Special Olympics Final Leg Torch Run. On June 5, 2019, between 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM, Burbank Police Officers will receive the "Flame of Hope" torch from LAPD near Riverside Drive and Clybourn Avenue. The torch will be carried through the city, east on Olive Avenue, before heading south on Glenoaks Blvd. for a hand-off to Glendale PD at Alameda Avenue. We hope you'll come out and cheer our runners on for this special event.
