National Night Out Scheduled for August 6, 2019
July 10, 2019 12:26 PM
Burbank, California - On August 6, 2019, the Burbank Police Department will be hosting the 36th annual National Night Out event. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to help make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live.
Dubbed America's Night Out Against Crime, this year's event returns to the Chandler Bike Path, between Keystone Street and Lincoln Street. Between 5:30 P.M. and 8:00 P.M., there'll be fun activities for the entire family, including displays of police vehicles and specialty units, face painting, music and entertainment, food and refreshments, and more!
Throughout the event, members of the Burbank Police Department, Burbank Fire Department, Burbank City Council, and others will join in conversation with community members to discuss concerns, ideas, and explore ways that we can all work together to improve safety in our neighborhoods.
If you can't make it to the Chandler Path, consider visiting one of the many neighborhood block parties in your area. If you can't find one near you, consider hosting one!
