Turkey Trot Street Closures 11.24.22

The Burbank Police Department would like to wish everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.
On Thanksgiving morning, the Burbank YMCA will host its annual Turkey Trot 5K/10K run in the City of Burbank (rain or shine). To provide a safe route for participants, the following street and lane closures will be in effect beginning at 4:30 a.m. on November 24, 2022, and will remain in effect for the duration of the event.
>> Third St. will be CLOSED from Cypress Ave. to Angeleno Ave.
>> Magnolia Blvd. will be CLOSED between Glenoaks Blvd. and San Fernando Blvd.
>> The Glenoaks Blvd. SOUTHBOUND #2 Lane will be CLOSED between Magnolia Blvd. and Providencia Ave. Northbound lanes will remain open; however, there will be NO access from residential side streets in this area.
>> Olive Ave. will be CLOSED between Glenoaks Blvd. and San Fernando Blvd.
>> The Olive Ave. WESTBOUND lanes will remain OPEN between San Fernando Blvd. and Lake St.
>> Olive Ave. EASTBOUND lanes will be CLOSED between Lake St. and Glenoaks Blvd.
>> Providencia Ave. will be CLOSED between Glenoaks Blvd. and San Fernando Blvd.
>> The San Fernando Blvd. SOUTHBOUND lanes will be CLOSED between Providencia Ave. and Alameda Ave. Northbound lanes will remain open to Cedar Ave.
>> The Alameda Ave. WESTBOUND #2 lane will be CLOSED between San Fernando Blvd. and Flower St. Eastbound lanes will remain open.
>> Flower St. will be CLOSED between Alameda Ave. and Verdugo Ave., with intermittent lane openings for southbound traffic, if needed.
>> Verdugo Ave. will be CLOSED between Flower St. and Lake St., with intermittent lane openings for local traffic, if needed.
>> Lake St. will be CLOSED between Verdugo Ave. and Olive Ave.
Burbank police officers will be posted along the event route. These street closures are scheduled to remain in effect until NOON (12:00 P.M.) on November 24, 2022. However, closures may be lifted earlier than expected following the conclusion of the Turkey Trot event.
