On January 17, 2015, at about 4:05 pm, a male pedestrian was struck by a southbound Metrolink Train on the train tracks north of the Magnolia Boulevard Overpass in Burbank. The male was pronounced dead at the scene by Burbank Fire Department Paramedics. He was later identified as George Gregory Plitt Jr.
