STABBING INVESTIGATION 08-13-15

On August 13, 2015 at about 4:00 am, Burbank Police Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of East Tujunga Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located a male suffering from multiple stab wounds. The stabbing appears to have occurred in the area of Tujunga Avenue and Sunset Canyon. Burbank Fire Department Paramedics treated the victim and transported him to an area hospital. The injuries are not life threatening.

Pedestrian struck in the Burbank Village. Driver arrested for DUI Marijuana. The Burbank Police Department reminds our community that driving after drinking alcohol or ingesting drugs is extremely dangerous. Being under the influence of any drug that acts on the brain and central nervous system impairs a driver’s motor skills, reaction time and judgment. This puts not only the driver at risk, but also passengers and others who share the road and nearby walkways.

Stop Porch Package Thefts!!

The Burbank Police Department would like to warn the Burbank community about package thefts that have been occurring over the last two months. The Burbank Police Department has recently taken several reports in which UPS, FedEx and/or US Postal Service packages have been stolen from residential porches. The thefts have occurred in all parts of the city, generally in the afternoon to early evening hours.​
